It all started with CD, you could call that my gateway to green living, lol! Then tried the menstrual cup, loved it, so now have moved on to mama cloth…love it even more…so I need to build my stash, just looking for what brand/styles I like! I’d like to spread the word like I have with CD and the cup!
Aside, besides being good for the environment, I have reaped the benefits of no more cramps, clots, odors, sweating, itching etc associated with tampon and ‘sposies use…who knew?!
I love cloth I first started cloth diapering and then found the cloth pad love. Now I am thinking about un paper towels and reuse able sandwich bags. The best reward of cloth pads so far has been I have less cramping.
Thanks so much for your comment electicsoul77. You have a great chance at winning, don’t forget to follow my blog too – just click the link in the side bar to receive emails 🙂 Rebecca
Im not yet a cloth pad user still doing my research but so far I like the fact that they are reusable save money and better 4 ur body no more rash
Thanks Dena, they are sooo much more comfy than disposables.
I us cloth because I’m trying to keep unnecessary chemicals away from my body and help keep trash out of landfills we only have one earth! Plus prints are oh so cute!
Thanks Amanda, I agree with you whole heartedly, thanks for your comments
I use cloth because it is better for me and the environment 🙂 And I love beautiful fabric prints!!
Thanks Rachel, yes me too, thanks so much for your enter 🙂
I like cloth because it’s more comfortable! Most disposables seem scratchy on the surface.
I want to start using cloth because it will save money, and it is better for me and the environment!
I’m not a cloth user yet but I’m definitely interested. It seems like it’d be more comfortable and much cheaper in the long run.
Cloth is so much more comfortable and affordable, not to mention good for the environment 🙂
I started using cloth pads because I was trying to produce less waste but I love them because they feel just like underwear – no more gross plasticy feel! PS I love the Russian doll print 🙂
i love cups and cloth,i love the freedom that they give me, no more disposables for me!
I’ve been using cloth pads almost exclusively for about 6 months or so. They are the best-more comfortable, and I love that I’m helping the environment. I have had to use a disposable on occasion, and I can’t believe I EVER used them. So uncomfortable!
I started using mama cloth since I was having a bad reaction to the commercially made plastic pads. I thought I’d just give them a shot. Six months later and I’m hooked. I love them and wouldn’t trade them for the world
I use cloth pads because the nasty plastic ones make me itch! I like the idea of being environmentally conscious too.
I’ve been really getting into eco- friendly and conscious periods and recently bought a diva cup and actually look forward to my period because now it’s linked with my activisty side. I’m in the process of getting some cloth pads and panty liners so that I can stop using the plastic stuff for back- up or days when my period is light and I don’t feel like using the Diva cup. I just realized that I should start entering these giveaways because things can be a bit pricey. Thanks for spreading the word about all this female empowerment saving the environment stuff!
I was irritated by the fact that I had to use disposables every month, but then I came across a blog one day and I was hooked on cloth pads.
I am in the sage part of my life and love to still laugh. I have always had soreness from disposables. With cloth pads I can sneeze and laugh and not worry.
I like cloth because there is far less waste!
I use them because they save me money and because they make having your period more fun with the colorful fabrics to choose from

I’m obsessed with cloth because of the softness, the comfort, the cuteness, and healthy-ness of it! I switched to a menstrual cup first, then sought to replace my everyday pantyliners with cloth, and soon got addicted. Nowadays it’s a lot more expensive for me to order from the US, because of the postal rates. So I’d love to win this giveaway! And if I do, I may just gift the pad to a close friend who’s just starting her own stash. 😉
I wish I could say cloth appealed to me for environmental reasons or some other noble cause but the real reason is that they are just so darn pretty! It is also a plus that they are much more comfortable and handy. Now I never have to beg my husband to stop at the drug store on his way home for a disposable crisis. Thanks for the chance to try new brand I just may love.
As an outdoor educator who knows the rewards of stewardship…as well as the girls who as grossed out by having to “carry out” what they carry into the woods, I am new to cloth pads but deeply passionate about conservation! I would love to give cloth pads a try and have yet to “take the plunge” and just start buying my stash. I gotta start somewhere and this giveaway may be just the place to show those silly girls that “carry out” is cool! 🙂
I have just started to research into using cloth pads. I think with both health and environmental reasons, it just seems the natural path to take.
Thanks for offering the change to try a new item.
Rhea
I have just started using cloth pads and am very slowly building up a stash. Ilove them because I’m allergic to tampons and hate the itchy, smelly, ugly disposable pads and am too scared to try menstrual cups. Cloth pads are soft and comfy, they dont make me feel gross and ugly like the disposables did, the fun designs and care taken in the making of the pads is empowering for the women who use them, im not embarrassed or ashamed of my period anymore!
I would like to use them as I have heard great things. I am expecting my second child in June and have been looking at washable nappies and breast pads. I know that I will need an endless supply of pads for 6 weeks after baby comes and this is really going to add up. Cloth pads seem like a great way to reduce cost and I am looking forward to trying them.
My granddaughter will be starting her period soon and I am encouraging her to use cloth pads because they are healthier, more comfortable, and better for the environment. I have that occasional surprise sneeze or cough and find myself using pads again. I am switching to cloth. I love both patterns but my favorite is the starlight pattern. Thanks for the chance to win one of these beautiful pads!
I use them because they’re so much more comfortable than a disposable!
I love your cloth pads – one of the best things I have done for my health & the environment. Plus I love not having to spend money (inc. GST!) monthly in the yukky old supermarket on tampons anymore. I tried other cloth pads before yours but with the over-locking & soft, natural fabrics you choose, yours are more comfortable & definitely more discreet – thanks!
Hello, I am just looking into this. I would love to try them. A while back I had heard of them but never looked into it further. I guess why I would like to try them is to save money and keep waste out of the landfill. Thank You!
Years ago i was right into radpads. Over the years they disintergrated, i lost bits, and of course there is always the odd one (typically at the end of my period) that got forgotten, left in the bucket for too long (argh!). I loved the radpads, but they did have a few issues, which is why i guess id never properly replaced them. So fast forward to now, i have a toddler, i love cloth nappies, MCNs rock! One of the MCN brands that i follow recently put out a cloth pad. It triggered something. I looked online, found the cloth pad shop and now this particular page. I love that menstrual pad designs have been modernised in the same way as MCNs and im really excited about trying a range of them. Even though i buy the organic ones, im glad at the thought that once again i will no longer be giving that industry any more money! And can you believe there is a GST on menstrual products?! Im still miffed at that, bloody Howard!
I use cloth because of comfort mostly, but also like having bright cheery colors/patterns during this difficult time. I also love saving money and not adding to the landfills.
I began using cloth because of an allergic reaction to disposable products. What a difference using cloth has made! No more painful rash (yay!), and a shorter cycle to boot! It’s better for me, and the environment. Love cloth!
I’ve just had my first baby and she’s in cloth nappies. I haven’t the need for cloth mama pads again yet, but I’d love to start. Someone above said lessened cramps? Hello, I’d love that! Just knowing I’m doing my small bit for the environment too.
I use cloth pads for the earth – no landfill or plastics, giving back to the earth via blood on the garden ; for me – comfort, financially good sense, good health, staying in touch with my cycle and cos they are beautiful.
I encourage all the young girls I know to use them too and most love them. If I won this I would give it away to a young girl to spread the word..
I like using cloth because it makes me feel more self-sufficient. I don’t want to be high and dry (wet?) if I can not get to the store. Or there is no store!!
I used cloth diapers, which led to trying cloth pads. I use cloth pads because they are comfortable, and they are so cute! I have made part of my stash myself and I like trying a wide variety of pads made by others. I have noticed that my cramps have not been so bad since switching to the diva cup and cloth pads. I followed your blog via email. 🙂
When my sister started using cloth diapers, I started looking into cloth feminine supplies. They seemed so much more eco friendly and cost efficient. Plus they had waaaayy cuter designs on them. I have endometriosis and moving to more natural options were suggested just to be a little more comfortable. This was my first order and i am very excited to try them 🙂
I’d love to start using cloth pads, as I’ve only just become aware of how bad disposable ones are! I never knew the toxins and chemicals could affect us so badly. After it took almost 3 years for my cycle to return to normal when i had to give up the pill for health reasons, I started to investigate womens health further, and the next step for my health is to make the switch to cloth.
I use cloth pads because I like to care for my body and do the best I can to keep it in good health and feeling good! I find them much more comfortable than their synthetic counterparts, gone are the days of ‘nappy rash’ on my lady bits 🙂 I tell all my friends and family who will listen that they are the best thing ever! I bought my younger sister cloth pads when she started her periods, she loved them, so for christmas I gifted her a kit to made her own bunch of cloth pads and she was delighted 🙂
You can’t really go wrong with wearing pretty, comfortable and soft cloth during your moon time ❤
I love to use them because I don’t have to spend money to be tossed in the trash. I love that I don’t notice them because they feel like my underwear. Thanks for such great products!
I use cloth liners everyday. I love how soft and comfortable they are. The odd time I have to resort to a disposable pad or liner I find them so itchy and irritating and plasticky, cloth pads and liners are just far superior. Considering I wear liners everyday it didn’t take long for cloth liners to start saving me money too.
I started using cloth when I was really sick with multiple chemical sensitivity and was practically allergic to everything. Plastic is still irritating to me. But now im totally hooked for every reason and would never go back to disposables! 🙂
I use cloth because of chemical allergies.
I AM A HUGE FAN OF NATURAL LIVITY AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. NOT LONG AGO, I SEARCHED AND SEARCHED FOR A POSITIVE WAY OF A BETTER CYCLE INSTEAD OF USING THEM NO GOOD CHEMICAL PADS WHICH ONLY IRRITATE ME. AFTER, HAPPILY TRYING OUT CLOTH PADS, I WAS MADLEY IN LOVE FOR MANY REASONS & THREW AWAY ALL THE DISPOSABLES I HAD LEFT . NOW IM WORKING ON BUILDING UP MY STACH & FULL JOYING THEM :):)
I was always exclusively a tampon girl and starting doing research on them rite before the horrible “moldy tampon” story broke. That’s all the confirmation I needed and stopped using them altogether soon thereafter. But, I absolutely HATED disposable pads—hot, itchy, crinkly—so, I got a couple of menstrual cups first, (LOVE my Yuuki)! I use liners daily and didn’t like all the waste so, that’s how I got into cloth pads. I have leak issues with the cup per a tilted uterus, (still use it tho), so I started buying pads to use as an alternative to the cup. I am now what you call a “paddict”…I have a LOT of pads and it’s my official hobby! I love the customization, the great WAHMs that make a lot of them, and, most of all, not having to use disposables anymore!
I am making the transition to cloth pads and reusable menstrual cups. I cloth diapered my girls due to cost and it was better for their health and the environment. They will be needing feminine products in several years and I started thinking about the environmental impact and also the junk in disposable products. I don’t want to expose their bodies to such garbage.
I would like to try cloth pads because I get an itchy rash every month when I use disposable pads. I use cloth nappies for my babies, so I thought it would just be the next step to use cloth for myself.
They feel more comfortable and eventually pay for themselves.
I use them because they are better for me and the environment. I have a weird and very painful reaction to store bought pads, once I started using cloth it went away. They are also way more comfotable. I also am not throwing out disposable pads every month.
Thanks for the opportunity to win one of these marvelous pads! Love cloth. Chose it because it’s comfy, fun, good for you and good for the planet 🙂
I would love to be in the draw. I am yet to start out on cloth pads but came across the giveaway when looking into whats out there. So i would love to have a feel and try of this one. I am so over buying disposable pads and they are so uncomfortable and i hate having them rub and leave me sore.. i think your beautiful pads will be just the thing i am after.
I recently started to use cloth nappies for my child and truly discovered what a difference one person can have on the environment around them. I am so excited to be making a positive change to my world! While searching for more second hand nappies I happened upon a post about mama pads and looked into them. I thought if I can use cloth on my son why not use it myself! I have not bought anything yet as I am still researching. So i thought why not….and that is why I entered.
I cloth my babe, so why not me?
A much happier person I am sure I will be.
Disposable pads are boring and ‘crunchy’,
Cloth pads are soft, and can look so funky
Cloth should protect my bank balance along the way
And may even help save the earth one day!
how creative 😀
Thanks – pretty much the same as a lot of people are saying, just worded a little differently! 🙂
I started using cloth for two reasons- curiousity and awe. The idea that I didn’t have to be ashamed of my period or check out at a drug store with blushing cheeks every time I needed another batch of products was wonderful. There are also so many fabrics and styles available for cloth pads that I can “customize” and celebrate my period. A few months ago, I had no clue cloth pads existed, but I’m glad I did. Thanks for making cloth pads and for the chance to win one!
Intrigued, I love cloth nappies for bubs but never thought to use myself 🙂 Cannot believe the amount of money I’ve contributed to landfill for items I usually find uncomfortable, itchy and ill-fitting…. love love love these, sounds like they’ll be softer on the lady bits too 🙂
I’m on a mission to reduce my contribution to landfill. The compost is going well, just ordered some plastic-free toothbrushes and now I found you on Etsy. Thought I may as well enter the competition (but I’m also placing an order… Dr Suess, that’s just cheating to get my business!)
i have been considering cloth ever since i first heard of them which was a few months ago i use cloth for my babies and am keen to try cloth for myself
I like to use them because they are way more comfortable than disposable pads and I want o reduce my carbon footprint.
I started using cloth pads for multiple reasons. I wanted to make the world cleaner and use less waste and be healthier. Since I had to start using pantiliners every day, i wanted to be kind to my body and use something didn’t leave a rash or make me uncomfortable, and being reusable, I’m not helping fill the landfills.
I want to use cloth pads because once my baby is born in June, I’m going to be cloth diapering her. So I figure the next logical step is cloth diapering for me…lol I mean using cloth pads 😉 Plus I have the most sensitive skin and I hate disposable pads. Horrible! I have no desire to use those monstrous synthetic pads they give you in the hospital for postpartum, so I’m learning about different brands of cloth pads. Would love to win and try these!
I am new to the use of cloth pads, but after coming across an article on the benefits and pros of cloth pads, I was immediately intrigued! I am also one day shy of my due date, yes I am pregnant with number two and will be having a VBAC (vaginal birth after caesarean). I know I will need something to use after and I REALLY don’t want to go to disposable pads! Hence why I would absolutely LOVE to win these crafty pads!
Thank you 🙂
I started using cloth pads as I was having a lot of issues with pads and tampons. A friend suggested trying cloth pads and I am finding it so much better. No more discomfort or pain during my periods. It’s great. Plus I get to buy lots of pretty things.
